Director of Global Product Management - ECaSP Product Line

As a result of our expansion and growth, Cold Jet is currently seeking a Director of Global Product Management for our Environmental Cleaning and Surface Preparation (dry ice blasting) line of products. This person will be responsible for delivering sales and profit goals of the product line by developing and executing comprehensive global market strategies and programs that create opportunities for growth, innovation, cost improvements, new products, and global pricing. Position Responsibilities Specify market's demand for current and future products and application-based solutions by conducting market research supported by on-going interaction with existing customers and non-customers. Work with Marketing to create value/benefit analysis for product positioning and selling tactics. Work with sales and marketing to generate appropriate sales tools and promotional materials. Drive a solution set across development teams (primarily Engineering, Project Management, MarCom, Finance and Operations) through market requirements, segmenting, targeting and positioning. Develop and implement global product/solution go-to-market plans, working with all departments to execute through the Cold Jet Stage Gate process. Analyze potential partner relationships for the product/solution or other technologies within our application space. Manage the entire product line life cycle, through lens of pricing, promotion (including sales tool development) and position. Leverage decision-making based on thorough and dense understanding of competitive marketplace. Serve as the primary Marketing communication vehicle to the Field, Customer Service, Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing liaison regarding all aspects of ECaSP activity including ECR's, equipment related complaints, inquiries, product training, supply, cost improvements, etc. Tactical Responsibilities Innovation: Drive data, analytics and voice of customer into strategic solution road-mapping across the entire application spectrum of environmental cleaning, surface prep and parts finishing. Develop testable, feasible requirements for design in consultation with multi-disciplinary project team (engineering, operations, project management, customer service and accounting) Generate business case, financials, elasticity and risk assessment for development projects (Gate 2 handoff to PM team) (at Gate 4 commencement) Develop and lead execution of global go-to-market strategy and tactical business readiness plan through marketing, sales and operations. Voice of Customer - Vertical Application Support: Support the efforts of segment leaders by supplying market analytics, customer engagement and application-support testing Translate efforts of segment leaders to business case development for application solution innovation Keep a pulse on the competitive playing field, in consultation with vertical market champions and sales managers, and report on the competitive marketplace Portfolio Management: Manage strategic pricing, promotion, and positioning of all ECaSP products Understand and report on statistics for product success/fail Ensure product obsolescence is occurring when needed Develop & maintain hub of competitive and comparative information for sales positioning Ensure that the ECaSP product/solutions portfolio is clearly and consistently differentiated Sales Support: Generate content specific to new product/solution offerings (email alerts; positioning statements; competitive strategies) Develop database for sister/replicable sales opportunity based on like applications, customer type, geography, etc. Deliver proposals with input from Business Analytics and Engineering for complex solutions as required Position Requirements Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field; MBA preferred 5+ years marketing experience, preferably in capital expense goods or a technology-related field Ability to travel 25%, including international as needed. Proven track record successfully implementing major product launches and managing ongoing marketing programs Experience driving business using direct and channel-oriented selling models Adaptive and able to sell the organization on change Passionate, high energy, and fast-paced Ability to find ways over, under, and through barriers Sensitive and adaptive to both stated and unstated customer needs. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
